Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 49-year-old Keaʻau man who was reported missing.
Jann Lawrence Nakoa was last seen in the Keaʻau Ag Lots subdivision around 2 a.m. on January 1. He has a medical condition that requires medication.
He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-6, 140 pounds with brown eyes and short gray hair. He was last seen wearing shorts and a brown “hoodie.”
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
