The Hawaiʻi Police Department is working in collaboration with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in Hawaiʻi to address an allegation of a threat against a judge on Hawaiʻi Island.

On January 11, police received information that there may have been a threat against a sitting judge.

Criminal Investigations Section detectives are investigating the report as a first-degree terroristic threatening.
