Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 26-year-old Hilo woman who is wanted for several bench warrants.

Leilani Torres is wanted for contempt of court, failure to appear, and has a warrant of arrest issued for her arrest.  She is also wanted for questioning in connection with other investigations.

Torres is described as 5-foot-4, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has a butterfly tattoo on her left ankle, and the name “Lei” tattooed on her back. Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
