Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 28-year-old Kailua-Kona man who was reported missing.

Mack Kilion was last seen in Kailua-Kona on or about April 22 in a 1997 GMC Yukon sports-utility vehicle. The SUV was recovered Sunday (April 26) near shoreline cliffs at Upolu Point in North Kohala. Kilion’s personal belongings were inside the SUV but a search for him was unsuccessful.

On Tuesday (April 28) Fire Department personnel conducted an aerial search but failed to locate him.

Kilion is described as Micronesian, approximately 5-foot-7, 190 pounds with brown eyes, medium-length black hair, and a mustache and beard.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detectice Roylen Valera at 326-4646, extension, 268, or roylen.valera@hawaiicounty.gov.
