Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help with information about a burglary in December in the Keaukaha Military Reserve in Hilo.

At 9 a.m. on December 8, police responded to a report of a burglary at the Keaukaha Military Reserve on Kekuanaoa Street.

Police learned that a Polaris Ranger utility vehicle had been removed from a bunker on the base. Value of the vehicle is estimated at $16,000.

Police ask anyone with any information about this incident to call the Police Departments non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Dean Uyetake at 961-2379 or dean.uyetake@hawaiicounty.gov.
