Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a reported theft in North Kohala.

On June 25, a pink silk shawl was stolen from a souvenir shop on the 55-3400 block of Akoni Pule Highway in Hāwī. The incident was recorded on a surveillance camera.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the person in the photo to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Officer Landon Takenishi at 889-4640.
