A 54-year-old Mountain View woman who was in custody in Nevada was extradited to Hawaiʻi on Monday (July 11).

Patricia Wong, also known as Patricia Hanoa, was arrested and charged on the strength of an indictment for second-degree murder in the death of Kaycee Smith in 2009. Her bail was set at $250,000.

Wong was taken into custody last month by U.S. Marshals in Las Vegas.

She is being held at the Hilo police cellblock pending her initial court appearance scheduled for Tuesday afternoon (July 12).
