Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 70-year-old Honokaʻa woman who was reported missing.

Eileen Takako Windrath was last seen Tuesday morning (August 23) as she left her home for an appointment in Kona. Her family is concerned because of the stormy weather conditions en route to her destination.

She is described as 5-foot-2, 128 pounds with brown eyes and short gray hair. She was last seen driving a blue 2006 Scion four-door sedan, license plate PJU 125.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
