Today, (October 4), is “National Coffee with a Cop Day.”  Join your neighbors and police officers for coffee and conversation.

Coffee with a Cop” provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in our community.

The Mission of “Coffee with a Cop” is to break down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

“Coffee with a Cop” takes place today from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at these locations;

 In Hilo at Starbucks at Prince Kuhio Plaza

In Waimea the Starbucks at Parker Ranch

In Honoka`a it’s the TEX Drive-In

In Volcano stop by the Eagle’s  Lighthouse Café from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

And in Kailua-Kona stop by Kona Coffee and Tea at 74-5588 Palani Rd. from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
