The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League is organizing its Student Basketball League for high school girls or boys.

The league is open to boys and girls 15 to 18 years of age. Those who have participated in or are participating in the BIIF or the Parks and Recreation Age Group League are ineligible.

The deadline for registering with the HI-PAL league is February 7, 2003. Basketball action will get under way on February 19 and end on April 19.

Teams wishing to participate are encouraged to register with the HI-PAL office. The league will be limited to the first six teams for girls and the first 10 teams for boys.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be announced on a later date.
