Big Island police are investigating a shooting during a domestic dispute Monday afternoon in Kona.

Police responded to a 5:30 p.m. call and received information that a woman had fired at least one shot during an argument with her estranged husband in her Kalaoa home on Mamalahoa Highway. The 39-year-old Kona man was not injured in the shooting.

Jessica Roeder-Tuifua, 34, of Kalaoa was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangering but has not been charged. She is being held in the Kona police cellblock while detectives continue their investigation.
