Big Island police are asking for the public's help in locating a 42-year-old Hilo man who was reported missing last Thursday (November 22).

Willie Dennis Eriksson, 42, of a Kaiwiki Road address is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 165 pounds with blue eyes, short gray or partially gray hair and a goatee.

He is known to frequent the downtown Hilo area and to travel between Hilo and Kona.

Eriksson was last seen during the evening hours of November 7 at a general store in the Mountain View area of the Puna District.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department's non-emergency number at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
