The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) held its 27th Annual Winter Basketball Classic in Hilo from
Nearly 430 youths between the ages of 9 and 14 participated in 33 teams, including four from Oahu. The tournament was broken into the following divisions: Age 9 and 10, Age 11 and 12, Age 13 and 14, and Girls 12 and Under.
The following is a list of the winners from each age bracket:
Age 9 and 10 Division: Manoa Boom

Age 11 and 12 Division: Kona Sting Rays
