The Hawaii Police Department invites teenagers and young adults to participate in "Night Hoops," free-play basketball events in Waikoloa, Honokaa and Kohala.

The Night Hoops activities will be held from 5-9 p.m. at the following locations on the following dates:

• The outdoor basketball courts at Waikoloa Elementary School on June 30, July 7, July 14 and July 21.
• The Honokaa Sports Complex Gymnasium on July 1, July 8 and July 22.
• The outdoor basketball courts at Kamehameha Park in North Kohala on July 2, July 9 and July 23.
