Hawaii County police are looking for a 74-year-old Hilo woman who has been missing since Wednesday (March 12.)

Irene Haraguchi is described as being of Japanese ancestry, 4-foot-10 to 5-feet tall, about 115 pounds with brown eyes, dark brown shoulder length hair with a white or gray streak running from the front of her head toward the back, brown eyes and a fair complexion. 

Haraguchi is reported to be suffering from a medical condition that requires medication, which she apparently does not have in her possession.

On March 12, Haraguchi reportedly flew from the Big Island to the island of Maui. Maui police have been contacted and are assisting Hawaii police with this investigation.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Officer Clarence Acob at 961-2211.
