A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged with terroristic threatening and reckless endangering in connection with a report of shots being fired at a camping site Monday night (October 6).
In response to a report made Tuesday (October 7) at the North Kohala police station, police arrested Lance Cazimero of North Kohala for allegedly firing shots over the heads of juvenile campers at Upolu Point during an argument with a family member.
Cazimero was taken to the Kona police cellblock while detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations Section continued the investigation.
At 12:54 p.m. Thursday (October 9) police charged Cazimero with one count of first-degree terroristic threatening, seven counts of first-degree reckless endangering and one count of second-degree reckless endangering.
He was released after posting $8,100 bail.
