The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program " Hawai'i Island 's Most Wanted" features two men wanted for jumping bail and a man wanted for assaulting a police officer.

The new episode begins airing Friday, April 17.

In it, police ask for the public's help in locating 34-year-old Marciano Dennis Samana, who is wanted for jumping bail and for a grand jury indictment for promoting dangerous drugs, promoting detrimental drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. He is described as Samoan, 5-foot-10, 280 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The television program also features 48-year-old Norbert Thomas Burke Jr., who is wanted for jumping bail, violating terms of release on bail, contempt of court and failure to appear in court. Police also have an all-points bulletin out for him in connection with a theft. He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

" Hawai ' i Island 's Most Wanted" also asks for the public's help in locating 51-year-old Michael David Negrini, who is wanted on six warrants, including two for assaulting a police officer. He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-11, about 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

"Since ' Hawai'i Island's Most Wanted' began in February 2007, we have asked for your help in locating 59 people who were either wanted or missing," said Assistant Chief Henry Tavares, who hosts the program. "Thanks to the response from this community, we've cleared 31 of those cases."

Police ask anyone with information about the wanted persons to call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers calls are kept confidential. Crime Stoppers does not tape record phone calls or subscribe to caller ID.

" Hawai i Island 's Most Wanted" is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo, Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, " America 's Most Wanted."

The program airs on Na Leo O Hawai'i Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
