The Hawaii Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the persons who stole items from a North Hilo construction site last week and this week.

Numerous pieces of construction equipment and lumber were taken in three thefts at the construction site in O'okala. The most recent theft was reported Monday (February 2).

Police ask anyone with information about the thefts or the location of the items stolen to call Officer Michael DeCoito at 962-2120 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
