...missing since May 7

Media Release

The Hawai'i Police Department is searching for a 16-year-old girl reported as missing from Kea'au since May 7.

Kawehi Mamala is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8,  approximately 120 to 140 pounds, with brown eyes and long brown hair with blond streaks. 

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
