Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a burglary that was discovered over the weekend at Haili Christian School in Hilo.

Sometime between 1:30 p.m. Friday (October 10) and 4:30 p.m. Sunday (October 12), unknown persons entered several classrooms at the private school at 190 Ululani Street and removed a Cannon camera and lenses, two Kamaka ukuleles, another ukulele imprinted with foreign words, a red HD web camera, a Bible and cash.

Police ask that anyone with information about this case or the identity of the burglars call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Wayne Kenison at 961-2213.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
