So far this year, there have been 84 DUI arrests, a 26 percent decrease from the 114 arrested during the same period last year.
There have been 160 major accidents so far this year, compared to 180 during the same period last year, a decrease of 11 percent.
There have been no traffic fatalities on the Big Island so far this year, compared to two during the same period last year.
