The operation concentrated on the areas of Wainaku, King’s Landing, Kaiwiki, Hakalau, Honomu, Pepeekeo, Keaau, Pahoa, Ainaloa, Hawaiian Acres, Kapoho, Kalapana, Waawaa, Waiohinu, Mark Twain Estates, Mauna Kea Ranch, Paahau, Maulua Gulch, Ninole and Laupahoehoe.

Officers encountered a sharpened spike in a marijuana patch in Hamakua. No other incidents were reported during the eradication operation, and no arrests were made.
