The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program "Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted" highlights a Puna man wanted for questioning in a theft investigation, a Hilo man wanted on three outstanding bench warrants and a Puna man wanted for meth trafficking.
The new episode begins airing Friday, February 12.
In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating Maika Tilton of Puna who is wanted for questioning in a theft investigation. He also has an outstanding bench warrant for burglary. He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-9, 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The television program also asks for the public’s help in locating Dane Ikaika Correa of Hilo, who is wanted on outstanding bench warrants for second-degree theft and two counts of contempt of court. He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-five, 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
In this edition of "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted," the host, Lieutenant Mitch Kanehailua, also asks for help in locating Cody Balino of Mountain View, who is wanted for an outstanding bench warrant for meth trafficking. He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-7, 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Police ask that anyone with information about any of these wanted persons call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181 in Kona. "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted" is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo, Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, "America’s Most Wanted."
The program airs on Na Leo O Hawai’i Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
