Featured on "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted"

The driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash, a man suspected in a robbery at Kehena Beach and a Kona man wanted for abuse will be featured on the next edition of the Crime Stoppers television program "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted."
The new episode starts airing Friday (July 20). In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating the driver of a hit-and-run fatality on March 14 in Puna. The victim, Raymond L. Carvalho IV, was walking north on North Kulani Road in Mountain View when he was struck by a vehicle that was also traveling north around 10:45 p.m. Investigators believe the driver was operating a 1999-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, a 2000-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Tahoe, or a 2000-to-2006 blue Chevrolet Suburban.
"Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted" also asks for the public’s help in finding 21-year-old Aaron Hoke of Hilo, who is wanted in connection with a robbery and several car break-ins at Kehena Beach on February 16. He is described as 5-foot-9, heavy set with brown eyes and black hair.
The TV show also asks for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Earl Lewis Camacho, who is wanted for abuse of a family/household member in West Hawaii. Camacho, 24, is described as Filipino, 5-foot-4, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The TV program’s host, Major Jay Enanoria, asks anyone with information about any of the wanted persons to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311, or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers calls are kept confidential. Crime Stoppers does not tape record phone calls or subscribe to caller ID.
"Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted" is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo, Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, "America’s Most Wanted."
The program airs on Oceanic Time Warner’s public access Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
