The Hawai’i Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) held its 30th Annual Winter Basketball Classic from December 26-29 in Hilo. Thirty-eight teams (including three from Oahu) participated in the following age divisions:

  • Boys 9 & 10
  • Boys 11 & 12
  • Boys 13 & 14
  • Girls 12 & under
  • Girls 14 & under

More than 350 youths age 9-14 participated in the tournament.

Below is a list of the winners, in alphabetical order from each division, along with a team photo taken after the championship games, which were held at the Hilo Civil Auditorium on December 29.
