One Hundred (100) youth, (17 from the 5-8 division, 56 from the 9-12 age division and 27 from the 13-17 age division), participated in thirty-seven (37) games during the Hawai´i Police Activities League (HI-PAL) 2013 “Click It Or Ticket” 3 On 3 Basketball Tournament held at the Kea´au High School Gymnasium on June 08, 2013.

Coming out on top in the 7-8 division was Ka´u, coached by Glen Hashimoto and Helena Carvalho. Members of the team are (in alphabetical order): Domonic Dacalio; Loea Kaupu; Kaimana Kaupu-Manini and Jensen Navarro-Villa.

Coming out on top in the 9-10 division was Pa´auilo, coached by Sheldon Batin and Augie Augustin. Members of the team are (in alphabetical order): Kalia Augustin; Keani Augustin; Tre Walker and Bear Wawner.

Coming out on top in the 11-12 division was ´Imi Pono, of Waimea, coached by Mark Low and Kalewa O´Neil. Members of the team are (in alphabetical order): Thomas Key; Micha Low; Kyrell Mateo; Kalewa O´Neil, Jr. and Nalu Shimizu.

Coming out on top in the 13-14 division was HD, coached by Davin Alip. Members of the team are (in alphabetical order): Maitland Akau; Aina Alip; Kelsan Cacoulidis and Kelvin Falk.

Coming out on top in the High School Boys division was Pa´auilo, coached by Sheldon Battin. Members of the team are (in alphabetical order): Shyrome Batin; Ayson Datuin; Sione Epenesa and Wesley Salboro.

“Click It Or Ticket” is a nationwide campaign whose purpose is to educate vehicular operators and passengers on the use of seat belts/child restraints and the fines associated with non-compliance.
