The Hawai’i Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) in collaboration with the County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold an agility and conditioning training program for youths who wish to enhance their performance in various athletic events.
The program will run from June 9 through July 29 at the Civil Auditorium in Hilo. Participants will be divided into two age categories: 9-12 and 13-18. Incoming high school freshmen with an interest in fall high school sports are encouraged to attend.
The 9-12 age group will begin on June 9 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The 13-18 age group will begin on June 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. A schedule with dates and times for the entire training program will be available beginning with the first session.
Participation is free but participants must register. Registration forms will be available at the activity site.
