Police are looking for a 15-year-old boy who has been missing since January 21, 2005.

The boy was identified as James Balai Jr., of a Hilo address. Balai is described as being 5-foot-9 in height, weighing about 140 pounds with a slim build and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Balai was reportedly seen recently in Hilo.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
