Police have charged a Honokaʻa man for a break-in that occurred in August of this year in Honokaʻa.

Today at 10:45 a.m. (September 14, 2012) after conferring with prosecutors, Sam Ryelan Perez was charged for one count of first degree burglary and one count of second degree theft. On August 23, 2012 shortly before 4:00 p.m., a 57-year-old Honokaʻa woman called police and reported that upon returning home, she discovered that her residence was entered and several items were missing.
