…wanted for outstanding warrants

MEDIA RELEASE

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 22 year-old man wanted for an outstanding warrant for criminal contempt of court. Wren Kealoha Evans also known as Wren Beaumont is additionally being sought by East Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section detectives in relation to numerous unrelated crimes.

Evans was last seen operating a grey colored late model Chevrolet SUV in Puna, but is also known to frequent the Hilo and Kona areas. He is described as a Caucasian, 5’9″, 175 pounds and having brown eyes and brown hair, although he may have shaved his head. He may be in the company of a female adult and small child or infant.

While police do not consider Evans to be dangerous, the public is not advised to approach him. Anyone who sees Evans or has knowledge as to his whereabouts is being asked to contact Detective Robert Wagner at (808) 961-2380 or the non-emergency number(808) 935-3311.
