Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a male suspect wanted for various criminal offenses stemming from an incident that occurred on April 08, 2006 (Saturday) between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm in Kona, Hawaii.

The suspect is identified as Kawika Williamson, a 21 year old male, of 37 Rabbit Hill Road, Captain Cook, Hawaii. Williamson is described as being 5 feet 7 inches in height, weighing about 140 pounds, having black hair and hazel eyes.

On April 10, 2006 at about 5:51 am Patrol Officers from the Kona Patrol Division responded to a report of an Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle at the Kohanaiki Business Industrial Park in Kona. It was reported that the suspect, Kawika Williamson removed a truck belonging to Kona Lua, Inc. The truck belonging to Kona Lua, Inc. was recovered by the owner and with damages estimated at $20,000.00. During the time of this incident, it was reported that Williamson also attempted to remove another truck belonging to RSI roofing and damaged several other vehicles belonging to various businesses in the area. Williamson also has a outstanding bench warrant.

Police have initiated an Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle, 4 Criminal Property Damage, Attempt Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle, in conjunction with this incident.
