Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 58-year-old Puna woman reported as missing.

Janshon Liao of Hawaiian Beaches was last seen in Pāhoa town shortly after 2 p.m. Friday (August 23).

Her family is concerned about her, as she has a medical condition that requires medication.

She is described as Asian, 5-feet tall, 140 pounds with brown eyes and short salt-and-pepper hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, red pants and pink shoes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
