The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for a 68-year-old Ka’u man who was reported missing.

Elijah Lovejoy of the Mark Twain Estates subdivision reportedly left his home at 6 p.m. Wednesday (June 17). He was driving a silver Toyota Prius 4-door sedan, license plate HEN 091.

Lovejoy is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-7, 178 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He suffers from a medical condition.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Walter Ah Mow at 326-4646, extension 238, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
