Big Island police are cautioning motorists to drive with caution when they approach traffic signals.
Because of the storm and electrical shortages, traffic signal lights may not be working properly, police said.
Motorists are advised to stop at every intersection and yield the right-of-way until traffic signals can be restored to normal working conditions.
Motorists are also urged to remain patient and drive with courtesy.
