MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island Police are looking for a 14-year-old girl reported missing from her home in Keaau since April 15, 2005.

She is Malia Roshana Leigh Madeira. Madeira is described as being Caucasian, being about 5-foot-6 in height, weighing about 115 pounds with a slim build and having brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Shawn Ibarra of Puna Patrol at 966-5835 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
