East Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section detectives have released an audio recording of an anonymous caller who phoned in bomb threats to a local public school.
Detectives released the recording in the hope that someone will recognize the caller’s voice.
CIS detectives are investigating a series of threats made against a local public school between March 14 and 19, 2005
The male caller made reference to a bomb being placed on the campus of the school and the safety of students.

Police are asking that anyone who may recognize the voice or know the identity of the person making the bomb threats to call Detective Uwao Chartrand of the East Hawaii CIS at 961-2382 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
