Big Island police are on the lookout for a 38-year-old man who allegedly violated the terms of his extended furlough and has been classified as an escapee from the Hawaii Community Correctional Center in Hilo.

The escapee was identified as Christopher Neal Nasario. He is described as being 5-foot-6, weighing about 160 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Nasario violated the terms of his furlough by allegedly failing to report his whereabouts to HCCC personnel, who reported him missing on Saturday (April 2, 2005).

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
