Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a kidnapping and assault case that occurred early Sunday (March 28, 2004) in Hilo.

An adult female reported that while working for a 24-hour business, she was shoved within the office building and held inside the building for several hours by an unknown male. During that time, she said she was assaulted.

He had tattoos, including the word “Hawaii” on his abdomen and “Local Boy” written in Old English letters on his right upper arm.

The suspect could be operating an older model brown Honda Civic four-door sedan with an unknown license number.
