Police are seeking information about the theft of three Dell computers during a burglary Sunday (April 13, 2003) at the Kohala High School industrial arts workshop.

Responding to a 7:15 a.m. call Monday (April 14, 2003), North Kohala Patrol officers determined that thieves broke into the workshop sometime after 4:30 p.m. Sunday and took three computer CPU’s and their monitors. The total value of the computers was estimated at more than $7,900.

Anyone with information about the theft or the identities of the thieves is asked to call Officer John Kalauli at 889-6540 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. The numbers are answered 24 hours a day. Callers will be given a coded number and their identity will remain anonymous. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if their call leads to an arrest, indictment or the recovery of property. Crime Stoppers neither subscribes to “Caller ID,” nor does it record phone calls.
