MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are looking for a 17-year-old girl reported missing from her home in Hilo since September 19, 2005.

She is Amber Demotta. DeMotta is described as being 5-foot-4 in height, weighing about 140 pounds with a medium build and having brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section, at 961-2373 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.
