Puna man arrested in Attempted Murder investigation 11-28-05

A 24-year-old man from Mountain View was arrested for Attempted Murder following an incident that occurred Friday afternoon (November 25, 2005) in Puna, Hawaii.

On November 25, 2005, at about 1:04 p.m., Puna patrol officers responded to a call of an unconscious female at a residence in the Fern Acres Subdivision in Puna and upon their arrival, located the 34 year-old victim who was being treated by Hawaii Fire Department Rescue Personnel.

The victim was transported to the Hilo Medical Center and was later transferred to the Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu where she is listed in very critical condition.

Police were able to determine that the 24 year-old male suspect fled the scene prior to officers arrival in an early model four door sedan at which time an All Points Bulletin was issued to officers, who stopped the vehicle in the upper Ainaloa Subdivision and arrested the driver for several arrest warrants for unrelated offenses.

On November 28, 2005 at 3:25 p.m., police reclassified the initial Assault investigation and arrested Marwan Timothy Sadd Jackson of Mountain View for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and is being held as East Hawaii Criminal Investigations Section detectives continue the investigation.
