Hawaiʻi Island police have arrested a Puna man in connection with the disappearance of 44-year-old Dante Peter Gilman of Hawaiian Acres, who was reported missing on January 10.
At 12:40 p.m. Thursday (January 17), 30-year-old Claude Keone Krause of Kurtistown was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder.
He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section continue the investigation.
