Hawaiʻi Island police have released 57-year-old Daniel Holland of Pāhoa, who was arrested Thursday in connection with a reported stabbing in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Puna.

He was released pending further investigation at 2:40 p.m. Friday (November 28).

A 32-year-old Keaʻau man who received stab wounds to the abdomen remains at The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. His condition has been upgraded to serious but stable condition.
