Big Island police are asking the public for assistance in locating a refrigerator that was stolen from the Carvalho Park/Piihonua Gym pavilion kitchen.

The white 4.3-cubic-foot GE brand refrigerator was last seen Wednesday, April 12, 2006. It was discovered missing Saturday, April 15, 2006.

Anyone with information about the missing refrigerator is asked to call Officer Jason Grouns at 961-2213 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
