Two charged with drug offenses 11-18-14

A man and a woman have been charged with drug offenses after police served a search warrant at their residence in Waikoloa.

On Monday morning (November 17), Area II Vice Section officers served the search warrant on a home on Puu Nui Street. They recovered 129.5 grams of a crystalline substance, 15.1 grams of a dried green leafy substance, 6.6 grams of a white powdery substance, one morphine tablet and paraphernalia associated with the distribution and use of narcotics. Police also seized $901 in cash for forfeiture.

Arrested at the scene were 46-year-old Lenore Lafaye of Waikoloa and 45-year-old Lindsey Robinson of Waikoloa. They were taken to the Kona police cellblock while Vice detectives continued the investigation.

Monday afternoon, Lafaye was charged with meth trafficking, promoting a detrimental drug, three counts of promoting a dangerous drug and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $316,000.

Robinson was charged with promoting a dangerous drug, promoting a detrimental drug and possessing drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $21,000.

Both remained at the cellblock until their initial court appearance on Tuesday (November 18).
