The Hawaiʻi Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Kona and the many neighborhood watch associations for their assistance in locating several wanted individuals. Thanks to the outpouring of tips provided by the community, police have located Nicole Adams, Michael Galon, Sean Gregory, Curtis “Hoku” Kekahuna Jr., and Joshua Watan.
Big Island police continue their efforts to locate the following two individuals who have outstanding warrants or who are wanted for questioning.
Joel Landsborough, 24, of Kailua-Kona, is wanted for a $300 warrant for contempt of court. He is described as 5-foot-8 and about 145 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo of the Hawaiian islands on the right side of his chest.
Danny Estocado, 24, of Kailua-Kona, is wanted for questioning for an unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle investigation. He is described as 5-foot-7 and about 178 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tribal type tattoo on the left side of his chest.
Police ask that the public not approach any of these wanted persons, as they may be armed and dangerous. Instead call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
The Hawaiʻi Police Department would like to inform the public that the department does not post information concerning wanted individuals on social media websites and information concerning persons who are being sought by police is distributed via the department’s website located at www.hawaiipolice.com.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
