Media Release (corrects road closure information in 1st paragraph)
A fatal two-vehicle crash has closed Kaiminani Drive at the Laui Street intersection. Queen Kaʻahumanu Highway remains open.
The head-on crash between a pickup truck and a sedan occurred early Monday morning shortly after midnight, killing the driver of the sedan.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Traffic investigators are at the scene. Police expect the road to remain closed until approximately noon.
