A 23-year-old Kamuela man was arrested today (October 22) after a report of Invasion of Privacy was made.

On Sunday morning (October 20) South Kohala Patrol officers initiated an Invasion of Privacy investigation after receiving a report that at approximately midnight on Sunday (October 20), an unknown male was observed to be standing outside of a bathroom window of a residence located in the 62-2400 block of Haleola Place, Kamuela.

The male appeared to be video-recording on a device that appeared to be a cellular telephone as a juvenile female was located within the bathroom area. Officers obtained a description of the suspect, continued the investigation, and were able to identify an adult male as the responsible individual.

On Tuesday morning (October 22) South Kohala Patrol officers arrested and charged 23-year-old Jeron Ramos, of Kamuela, for one count of Invasion of Privacy in the First Degree. Bail was set at $2,000. Ramos posted the bail and was provided a future court date.
