Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Hazelyn P. Gonsalves, who was reported as a runaway. Due to her age, she is considered an endangered missing child.
Gonsalves was last seen in the 16-000 block of Tradewind Drive in Pahoa on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12:00 a.m., wearing a pink hooded sweat shirt, blue ripped pants, and pink Crocs shoes.
She is described as Hawaiian mix with a small build, 5 feet 1 inches tall, 113 pounds, with medium length straight brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police ask anyone with information on Gonsalves’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or email Officer Christa Brode at christa.brodie@hawaiicounty.gov.
