Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 84-year-old Hideyori Toyotomi, who was reported as a missing person.

Toyotomi, who suffers from dementia, is described as Japanese, 5’-7” tall, approximately 160 pounds, with long, straight, white hair.

He was last seen on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 23, 2021, sitting on a sidewalk on Kuakini Highway, north of the intersection with Henry Street in Kailua-Kona, wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and slippers. He is known to frequent the above-mentioned area, as well as the Kailua Pier, and the general area of Hilo.
